Professional: Ernest Kemm (South Africa) Captain: Tim Farragher: "After a much improved season last year we will, once again, look to make further progress up the league table. A few of the teams around us in the table look to be weaker following the annual player merry-go-round so I am confident we can make further improvements. In Simon Newbitt, we have signed one of the finest batsmen in the league over the last decade and this will provide a massive boost for the club." Contenders: "I expect Clitheroe, Darwen and Walsden to be strong in all competitions while Burnley should improve. The T20 competition will provide us with our best chance of silverware and a repeat of last season’s exploits would be fantastic achievement."
