Under 9s Match Report

>After George P, skipper for the day had won the toss, he decided to ball first. Conditions were very tricky, a strong cold wind and slippy under foot. We balled extremely well and much improved from our previous match with wickets falling at regular intervals and very few wides. We looked sharper in the field too which was great considering the cold conditions. Church still managed to set a stiff target of 244 which would be very testing.

We got off to a fantastic start with George H and Fin with George hitting an outstanding 17 and no outs. The girls Belle and Bella carried on the good work with some excellent running between the wickets. Wilfie and Etty both hit good boundaries and we were level going into the last pair. More boundaries followed from George and Noah and we amassed 259, resulting in a fine victory.

MOM George H terrific all round performance. Runs Wickets and good keeping
