Welcome to ladies and girls cricket at Bacup Cricket Club. Our co-ordinator is Emma Hart, Emma has been involved with the club for many years and is passionate about ladies and girls cricket. The hard work is starting to pay off with a great squad being put together and the numbers are still growing!

Lawrence Adlum
Coach
I started playing cricket for a team at 7 years old, although I'd had the bat and ball in hand since I could walk. Having come through the junior teams at Haslingden, I moved to join the MIGHTY Stags for the 2022 season.
I have coached previously at Haslingden and I continue to do so with their Under 9's and All Stars cricket. At the end of last season I started to get involved with coaching the Ladies team here at Bacup, which I have absolutely loved. Seeing such a wide range of personalities and ages all gel together into one team has been fantastic. Some are experienced cricket players/fans/mums, but some are new to the game, and witnessing them enjoying playing cricket for the first time has been fantastic to see.
You won't meet many a funnier and friendly group, they all encourage each other endlessly, and I have no doubt this is a major reason for their success as a team. I'd encourage anyone considering joining to reach out and get involved. I promise you won't regret it! This season I look forward to seeing how far this team can go.

END OF SEASON REPORT 2022
ANDREW KNIGHTS
The girls team created a fantastic team spirit during the Winter months which has led them to growing as a team through the spring & summer months.
The youngers have played 2 friendly matches and had plenty of practice with a growing squad of 11, which is amazing for our newly formed girls side.
