Profile:
Scott is the first of the next generation of Bacup Thompsons, following on from his uncles Peter and David, and his dad Steve. He has played some big innings in the thirds and has also made his mark in the second team. He has a good eye for a ball and hits it hard. He has worked hard with good effect to improve his ability in the field. He made his debut for the first team late in the 2004 season and in recent innings has begun to show that the experience he is gaining is improving his game. (AG, 2005)
