Profile:
Peter has worked his way through the Bacup youth teams before making his debut
towards the end of the 2007 season . He made an immediate impact. His first
spell of bowling lasted sixteen overs and played a big part in winning the
match. His second included a hat trick. Peter is a left arm spinner who makes
good use of his height. He has worked hard to improve his game and made good use
of the advice given him by such as Chris Cairns and Chris Harris. He has been a
good listener and his game has benefitted accordingly. His accuracy and control
mean that he is capable of bowling long spells which can be vital in the context
of a match. He has also shown that he can be useful with the bat. This has been
mainly in playing the role of junior partner whose job has been to stay in while
targets have been reached. We look forward to following his continuing
development, hopefully in an all-round capacity (possibly even including his
musical abilities). (TG, 2008)
