Profile:
Paul made his debut for Bacup 1stXI in 2002 as a 16 year old. A right-hand batsman who can bowl leg-spin, it is confidently expected that Paul will work his way up the batting order and settle as an opener, a position he has already occupied successfully during the 2003 pre-season friendlies. He is the son of Tony Gallagher, who played at both Accrington and Bacup. (AO, 2003)
